Re: ** S1 2BS Spearmint Rhino, Sheffield

Interesting to read how the whole business has affected the mind set of a councillor in a positive way. Fact based decision making? Could this be the future?

Re: Scotland consultations

So I was surprised to read that Edinburgh are listeningto the dancers now. Would have been better if they had taken note earlier.

Re: L1 6BU, Yet to be named, Liverpool

AAngels has moved, this will be a new club and new license just t the address that Angels was at. Guess they felt it would be harder to turn down a previously active SEV location. Not sure that 24/7 will get much business except on match days?

Re: Possible New Club in Dundee

The claims on rapes have been shown to be flawed, so much so the report it esas in was pulled off the web. But no matter how many times it is challenged it is still trotted out. Before I rain an ad blocker I would challenge it in local online news all over the UK. I lost track after creating my 37th ...

Drunk takes cab to venue ends up in fight with cab driver about wrong venue. I would guess the guys were drunk so not admitted and tried for a free trip to another venue. That is my best guess.

Re: Scotland consultations

Which is why I was surprised at Leeds where two clubs got licenses renewed with zero objections. There was always one that wrote in every time and would not have surprised me if it was Mrs Clown. We will see where the next big push is from NBI.

Re: Scotland consultations

The song never changes just different groups singing from a hymn that hasn't changed in 25 years. And the moment you offer to debate with them they hastily say they don't debate those who have been paid for by the pimps, I challenged Bindel twice on her Glasgow report and it went very quiet then I ...

Possible New Club in Dundee

Firstly apologies as I am not sure which part of Scotland Dundee falls under. North of Edinburgh and south of Aberdeen. The article doesn't give a name for the club yet.I suspect the cllub will be opened before Scotland makes up it's mind on how to deal with SEVs simple on the basis it is more ...

So the building owner has not renewed the tenancy. The current SEV license holders are looking for a new venue.

I'm guessing if it is within 10,000 miles of them it is inappropriate. As the are the only objectors it really comes over as a desperate ploy... more desperate than normal.

There is a claim of baiting of theatre students. Noted in the article though is there is no provable links to club or shop. Also the area is troubled, so it seems a bit of throwing mud and hoping it sticks. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/strip-club-patrons-accused-baiting ...
