It seems a questionable time to open a new club; perhaps they're trying to anticipate any tightening up of regulations? Some of us may feel (as I do) that this is another case of a club flaunting itself in an area that many of the public think is not appropriate to a lap-dancing venue, so adding fuel to the current controversy with the possible effect that more discreet, traditional pubs may suffer.
