Re: ** WS1 1PN Club X, Walsall
This venue was trading until the pandemic but did not re-open after lockdown.
Due to be auctioned shortly.
Future as a lapdance club uncertain.

An update on this venue:
It obtained an SEV licence and re-opened, trading as Savannah’s rather than Club X, in April 2022.
But there appear to have been irregularities with the SEV application which came to light when police investigated after a stabbing at another club which occupies the same building.
Licence was therefore revoked and the club closed last month; someone in this newspaper report says, "This premises will remain closed for a long period. I don't see if reopening for the rest of the year."

From the newspaper report -
The application required the applicant to "give full names and private addresses of all directors or other persons responsible for management of the establishment".
The only name given was of Streetly Councillor Suky Samra, who sits on the council’s licensing committee.
How corrupt is that?
