This club has been going since around 1997.
Still operating from 18 Cumberland Street.

They got a licence to move to Princes Street last October.

However, speaking to one of the dancers, they still have not heard when they are moving - Christmas possibly. The bar in Princes Street (just a back alley by the way, even more so than Cumberland Street) does at least have Angels' name on it, so something is happening.

I think the 24/7 stuff relates again to what is actually on the licence, not what is likely to happen..
They used to open at 5pm on Friday but it is now 8pm.

Now moved to 31 Princes Street.

Unusual policy now being tried by management whereby dancers are not allowed to approach customers, we have to approach them or ask the staff to send them over..
It will be interesting to see how this works out.

Some years ago, we discussed venues' policies about who-approaches-whom after several of us muttered about constant, and not always welcome, approaches at the Axe and Sports Bar. It was remarked in contrast that girls at some other venues were told not to pester customers after initial overtures; they would then retreat to a corner and chat among among themselves, or talk with a regular customer, making it a bit inhibiting if one decided one wanted a dance after all.

The White Horse, High Wycombe and Victoria seemed to strike a happy compromise, as does the Nag's Head.

Presumably the rule still applies when a dancer knows a customer (which at least saves a little discomfort if one does not want a dance with her that session), though I found it pleasant to be welcomed on arrival by dancers who knew me.
