I understand this is primarily a gay venue, but have gleaned that it hosts straight striptease on Fri and Sat lunchtimes. By all accounts it varies in standards and raunch but can get pretty steamy at times.

What are the opening hours and the format?

2 or 3 girls walk round the pub like the old Shoreditch days, go fully nude, dance on tables etc; there is a a bit of interaction with the punters. The stripping goes on 11.30am til 3.00pm Fridays and Saturdays, £4 to get in

The presence of female dancers on matchday Saturdays here seems to have been intermittent in recent times. This year the dancing started again in early February but on March 11 came this news:-
"Have to announce that the Female Dancers are no longer doing Saturday mornings at the Eagle till further notice.."

The message leaves open the possibility that it could start up again at some point in future..
