Very true. Curiously neutral comment from the local MP, Tessa Munt. (Or perhaps she's being democratic and seeking local views, rather than repeating the sort of nonsense spouted by some of her fellow MPs.)
Myself, I'm not sure about the viability of out-of-town venues.

I gather the idea was to include lap dancing in lads/ladettes' weekends, in which case the main problem for locals could have been the drunkenness and high spirits associated with such occasions, whether or not striptease is included.
(Harry was right about the "dancer". Curious photo to use, unless it was meant to typify a harpy going straight for a man's wallet - as if any lap dancer would! )
