the place closed in 2007 but some of the photos will be of interest to people on the site as examples of what used to go on in the days before SEV licenses and the like ! I don't live that far from Nottingham but never heard of the place at the time.

As the site states, the Variety Club burnt down in 2009! The photographs represent the social club (as opposed to strip club) atmosphere of the place.
