Five venues in Blackpool have been given licences:

but there's to be no nudity.
So what's the point, some of us may be thinking?
Despite what Tyke said recently in the "Tighter Regulation" thread about public support for dancing, some of the comments in the above link are anti, though others refer to alternative pleasures available in the resort.

Five Blackpool venues licenced
Re: Five Blackpool venues licenced
Blackpool is just about the only topless only place I know left, a lot of the resorts like Bournemouth and Brighton were topless only but changed after being taken to court 7 or 8 years ago. Blackpool at one time had 11 clubs, now down to 5 mainly due to lack of business.
Most of the comments seem to be about the area gay men meet, not sure if thats pro or anti !
