Re: ?? YO1 6JT Black Orchid, York
This venue has gone. The building which housed it is due to be demolished. In December 2022, York Council's planning committee approved an application to construct a new building consisting of a ground floor music venue and office space at 3-5 Toft Green. The existing buildings - which had included ...

Re: ?? Eagle, Scotswood Road, Newcastle
The presence of female dancers on matchday Saturdays here seems to have been intermittent in recent times. This year the dancing started again in early February but on March 11 came this news:- "Have to announce that the Female Dancers are no longer doing Saturday mornings at the Eagle till further ...

Excellent work in updating all these threads, Brute.. But this one doesn't look right This is now the Sun Hotel , owned / run by Greene King . The Sun Hotel has been there for centuries, literally, but I'm pretty sure the club was in the building next door (3b rather than 3). On Google maps it can ...

I was also there for the Xmas event on 22 Dec. The pub was reasonably busy at 4pm with maybe 25 customers there. Several of the dancers who work there regularly were on including Larissa and Lucinda, Summer and Skye, and one or two others whose names I don’t recall. A good few tickets had clearly b ...

I was at the White Horse on a Saturday recently. They are still promoting themselves as the away supporters' pub on matchdays, and opening at 12 noon for that purpose. When I got there mid-afternoon the fans had moved on and it was quiet for a while. Two very presentable dancers working, both ...

They seem to have given up on the website. There are still dancers in the pub on most Fri and Sat from about 3pm to 6pm - but only 1 or 2 dancers per shift - and in the upstairs bar later on from 9pm.

An update on this venue: It obtained an SEV licence and re-opened, trading as Savannah’s rather than Club X, in April 2022. But there appear to have been irregularities with the SEV application which came to light when police investigated after a stabbing at another club which occupies the same b ...

Council refuses to ban strip clubs in the Highlands
This is rather old news - from April 2022. Common sense seems to have prevailed despite the usual objections, about clubs causing harm, increasing crime etc, being bandied about.
