Scarborough lap-dancing club licence application refused (BBC News website, 20/08/14)
The Council's remarks re objections makes interesting reading:
'The council received almost 100 objections, including a petition claiming the club would lead to "an increase in anti-social incidents".
However, in a statement the council said; "Most of the representations against the application from the members of the public did not demonstrate any grounds for refusal, so it is important to note these were not taken into account when the committee made its decision."'
Lilith being resurrected once again by the 'antis'? Perhaps a Freedom of Information Request is in order...

Re: Scarborough SEV licence refusal
Looks like careful wording in anti social, stays away from any direct reference to rape. Almost like they are avoiding Lilith.
Was that last orders?
