"Schoolgirls" poster banned

The photo must be a still from the recent St Trinians film (which I haven't seen).

shows the offending poster.

My first reaction was that it was crass of the club to promote such a theme, but from my very limited knowledge of St Trinians I think that it's usually been accepted that the schoolgirls are acted by older women. There was even a "Midsummers Murders" episode a few years back set in a girl's school where the pupils wore uniforms reminiscent of St Trinians.

I think the schoogirl nights were brought up by an objector when UT had their hearing for the renewal of their SEV licence. The licence was renewed with the promotion of schoolgirl nights being a no-no for the future.

Still, raising the issue of a St Trinian's Night demonstrates that they're clutching at straws, and resorting to making ridiculous statements about male sexuality in the process.

Given over the years the e-mails, and comments I have got from feminists especially on local papers where I challenged the thought process. My badge of honour though was being banned from Mumsnet 3 times because I actually quoted facts.

'“In the last two to three years it came down to a more ideological position – that the council was normalising women taking their clothes off, but Parliament has legislated on striptease and said it’s a lawful activity, and one aspect of feminism is women should have the right to choose what they do with their own bodies,” [Urban Tiger's barrister Philip Kolvin KC] said. “So it seems these arguments have run their course and dried up*.

'“The council has spoken and has made provision for two premises in Bristol city centre, and this year nobody has considered lodging an objection to this properly run Bristol business with its Bristolian female directors.” The authority’s neighbourhood enforcement team had found no breaches of the venue’s licensing conditions and there were no comments from the chief constable, members heard.'
