ITV Teletext had an item last night about the Pussycat (strip) Club in Church Road, Hove, closing because of competition from new venues in Brighton. A Google led me to the relevant web article from the local Evening Argus, curiously headlined "Brighton's oldest strip joint forced out to close" - when in fact the Pussycat was/is in Hove.

Reading the article, it appears that the Pussycat also offered lap dances, but was a bit out of the way compared with the new competition. Readers have appended their own comments, with the usual "what sort of man/girl goes to/works in these places" and some references to alternative delights at Brighton library, which appears to be popular among gays.

I'm told { by Ken the boss} that the lease on Pussycats, Hove had expired and he has now renamed the formerTop Totty { always the same ownership} as Pussycats. That makes 3 clubs in Brighton not the 6 quoted by the likes of Object.
