I don't know what has happened to the interior of the building, but all exterior traces of its past life as a pub have gone. It is now being used as advertising space for the neighbouring fish and chip shop.

Yet another year on and still no progress with the redevelopment. It must be at least 6 years since the site was cleared.

With the sun shining I took a trip into Southend today. This site is still boarded up with no sign that any building work is going to start soon.
