Re: Hotel Mystique in Gloucester

These days one searches in vain for decent media coverage of the mighty Glos; the Western Daily Press and Points West are in love with Bath - and their Midlands TV counterparts know nothing of rugby union! Re: Hotel Mystique in Gloucester

Well said, tryed again. As a Shedhead born and bred and a regular at Glawster, it definitely ain't in the West Midlands.

Not quite right, Zante, a significant proportion of Gloucestershire is served by the Mendip transmitter, broadcasting HTV and BBC West.

Re: Hotel Mystique in Gloucester

Not the New Pilot, but in the old New County Hotel - now set to reopen as a conventional hotel after its very brief life as Mystique!

PS - Gloucester has still not moved to the west Midlands!

I'm hearing Minx is closed: can anyone shed any light on this?

Note to mods: Glos is definitely not in the West Midlands! You only got to yer us speak to know this!

Went in here a couple of Saturdays ago when staying at the hotel up the road before flying from Luton. Thoroughly enjoyable evening - caught a shift change which was very pleasant. Some lovely up close walkaround dances, and was amused by the lace tablecloth blocking off the private dance area. Also ...
