It's a topless strip club situated opposite Central Pier on the promenade.
I didn't have to pay to get in (though some websites say it's £5), and drinks prices are reasonable. The girls are friendly and I had a long chat with one without feeling pressured to buy a dance, but of course I did in the end. No floor show, unless a stag party is in.
Prices range from £5 for a dance to £30 for a lesbian show.
One criticism was that the girls all did the same dance. I would have appreciated a bit of individuality. Still, not a bad place to go.

Baseless objections
"Claims of underage drinkers and performers at a Blackpool lap dancing club have been lodged after it applied to renew its licence - only for no evidence to be found on investigation."

Well, this demonstrates that the 'antis' aren't above lying when it suits them to, doesn't it?

Blackpool to phase out lap dancing clubs?
"it is proposed that the number of SEVs be reduced to zero with an exception being made for those four premises currently licensed.”

So basically, it would be a 'nil' policy with exceptions like in Hackney. And there are similar talking heads in Blackpool, parroting the same old groundless nonsense that attempts to link striptease with violence against women (hence the references to the White Ribbon campaign) in the public imagination:
'A council report adds as “a White Ribbon accredited authority, Blackpool Council is working towards setting a zero limit on the number of sexual entertainment venues (lap dancing clubs).
“Previously the number of sexual entertainment venues (SEVs) was set as four. Working towards the White Ribbon aims, it is proposed that the number of SEVs be reduced to zero with an exception being made for those four premises currently licensed.”'

Blackpool Council has agreed to not renew the licence's of the resort's four existing lap dancing clubs once then run out
"The resort’s existing four clubs can continue operating under their ‘grandfather rights’ but once existing licences lapse, for any reason, they would not be renewed."
"But Coun Neal Brookes warned the clubs could go underground if they were told to shut down all at once."

Blackpool to let all lap dancing clubs close in bid to be more family friendly
A short Sky News written report (from May 18 2021) with a link also to a more in-depth podcast.
‘ Authorities in Blackpool have begun a process they hope will eradicate the town's lap dancing clubs for good in an attempt to make it more family friendly.
There are currently four clubs operating in the famous seaside resort, but Councillor Adrian Hutton, who chairs the licensing committee, hopes that will drop to zero in the next few years.
Rather than the council forcing venues to cease trading immediately, it is taking a "softly, softly" approach.
When one closes or loses its licence under its current owner "we will not renew the licence for anybody else who came along", Mr Hutton explained.
He believes the clubs' popularity is because of stag and hen parties which can have a negative effect on Blackpool's image as a family destination.
Those in favour of preserving them argue that their existence has no negative impact on the culture of the city - and, if anything, is good for the local economy.
"There is no reason why adult entertainment and family-friendly entertainment can't exist (together)," said Toni Mansell, a stripper for ten years and now a passionate advocate of the rights of strippers and sex workers.
"We're not asking anyone to put a topless bar in the middle of Disneyland," she added.
When the clubs do close, a number of women will inevitably lose their jobs. Ms Mansell believes sex workers are a "very disenfranchised faction of people" and appear to be "under the chopping block all the time".
But the charity Not Buying It, which campaigns against the porn and sex trades, said that according to a study conducted by the UK strip industry, 70% of dancers make no money by the end of their shift. ’
? 70% ? Add that to the list of very improbable statistics

Another stat plucked out of the backside of some random radfem? Or do they have a link to a 'study' based on doctored data?
Seriously, where do they get their 'information' from, given that most dancers didn't trust them even before the secret undercover footage stunts?

I had a dig around, and it seems to be based on a misrepresentation of results from the Sanders/Hardy academic study of lapdancing.
They found that 70% of their sample of dancers had made no money or lost money on a shift on at least one occasion.
Now we all know dancers sometimes have a quiet shift where they struggle to make the house fee (and conversely also have busy shifts where they do really well).
That is obviously very different from “70% of dancers make no money”
Typical distortion of the truth from NBI.

What is significant is that Blackpool had very strict conditions for striptease for years before the 2009 Act. This makes it painfully obvious that the licensing scheme has nothing to do with regulation.
