No longer featuring on the Tease site. Despite Southend's decades-long penchant for striptease the Royal seems not to have survived as a venue beyond the first couple of months. Indifference, licensing, too much competition or all of the above?

Was in Southend earlier this week and there was a posted in the window advertising a new weekly pole dance night on Thursdays, starting 5th January. Can't remember the prices but think they are on the poster...

From memory, the 2012 strip sessions didn't last for very long. I think the Hotel closed down for a period too but now seems to be part of the 'regeneration' of Southend.
